A bridge too far!

Jonathan Evans MP and Jonathan Morgan AM are launching a campaign to get the train station at Llandaff North improved to that disabled people, the elderly and families with young children can access both platforms.

At the moment only able bodied people can access the Cardiff City centre route due to steep steps access via a bridge.

The station in Llandaff North is busy, but at present it is inaccessible for large number of residents, Jonathan Morgan AM had already met with the Deputy First Minister to see what help the Welsh Assembly Government can give to bring in money to make the changes needed.

Jonathan Evans MP commented:

“This is one of the busiest and most popular stations in Cardiff, so it is vital that all are able to use it. It is a disgrace that only the able voided can get to the right platform to into Cardiff City Centre, it’s total inaccessible for the disabled and those who are elderly with walking difficulties, as well as young families with prams and pushchairs.”
